- Early career production - Dynamic threat downfield & after the catch - Elite speed & start-stop ability - Fluid mover w/ good route running chops - Ball tracking is A+
Not entirely sure why the vibe isn't higher when talking about him in the WR class. pic.twitter.com/dv3JjdyZgh
I'll write something fresh about Worthy tomorrow morning now that he's a Chief to lay out how he's more than speed, but for now here's an excerpt from article linked in the below tweet... https://t.co/EcW7QtUrFFpic.twitter.com/811ahCEfMS

When you trade up in Round 1 for a WR, you do it to take these shots.
Chiefs had one of their better offensive performances of the past 2 years but still left plenty of meat on the bone. pic.twitter.com/fogaOAMKNi

I think its the turnovers that are causing him to be more pensive.
Early in his career he'd just chuck it because
1. He didn't know any better
2. He could
3. He didn't turn it over when he did
And he'd get away with it. Now that he's turning the ball over way more and struggling more than he's used to, I think he's spooked that chucking it will be a game losing mistake.
I know, I know. "Just keep firing" and all that. I agree. Clearly Mahomes is trying to figure it out himself. He says so in every press conference and holds himself to a higher standard. But its not gonna happen overnight. He's probably gonna continue to "suck" until he comes out the other side. [Reply]
