All this talk about series, how network TV Sucks, and how hard it is to find quality shows, and some excellent shows that fly under the radar, I need a comprehensive review of all the series I need to see.
For good entertainment, I would be willing to buy DVD sets. But I've recently picked up HBOGO by kiping it from my parents, and recently got Netflix and Amazon Prime.
Here is a listing of shows that I currently own or have seen all the episodes of. If it isn't on the list, just assume I haven't seen it.

I work a fuckton, so it is hard for me catch a series while it is on to get it on the DVR, but I recognize the entertainment value and am willing to go after the Must See shows. Accordingly, I'm not necessarily looking for anything that is still running. I'm up for watching stuff that has run its course.
So what say you, Planet? Which shows should I see?
After what I felt was a disappointing tonal shift for the majority of season 3, with far too much screen time for characters that I didn't care for, Barry absolutely stuck the landing in the last 2 episodes. We were close to giving up on it, but I'm glad we didn't. That was some great television. [Reply]
If I missed this here, I apologize. Episodes 1 and 2 of The Old Man dropped today. FX/Hulu. Jeff Bridges and John Lithgow. It's the most compelling first episode of any show I can remember watching. Wow. [Reply]

Tried watching Old Man...so many unrealistic scenarios that I barely made through 2 episodes. This felt like a series you would watch on NBC....really poor writing and character development. Needless to say, I'm not investing anymore time into this one...
Spoiler!
If the FBI wanted Lewbowski alive, why not just put the transponder on his car, tail him then bring him in. I'm not buying the need for some dude with a silencer to break into his house...as after it failed and altered him, they used the transponder method anyways...dumb. Why have a silencer at all if he wasn't going to kill him...they knew he lived alone in the boonies.
They had an entire aircraft hanger with agents on this case...why send only one guy to his house?
After the fight, the FBI is still somehow table to visually monitor him with the truck upside down....did they have this camera in a cactus 15 feet away? Then he walks up to it...a phone would laying flat pointing to the sky...again lazy writing, direction.
THEN..after he has killed both agents and knowing his exact location on a isolated road...they could have immediately alerted local police/create a road block....instead they wait until the next day to issue a manhunt...and never show him walking back to his truck or how he got away.
