Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

THEN he talks about how Alex Smith's record and numbers last year were equal or slightly better than Mahomes and how it's scheme-based him having success.
He then uses this information to determine that the Chiefs will lose at New England and COMPLETELY IGNORES THE FACT THAT ALEX DESTROYED THEM AT HOME LAST SEASON.
I love how Mahomes throws two picks in the rain vs the best defense in the league and now he's "flawed". Colin doesn't do research, he just has dumbass hot takes and then talks about how he "doesn't do twitter" because he doesn't "go for social media".
No, Colin, you don't do Twitter because you don't like being called out on your lazy bullshit hot takes that are easily refuted.
System QB’s do not put up more passing yards outside the pocket than Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson, or any other QB in the last decade. [Reply]
I know! You can't simultaneously call it a system and that system is playing outside the system. He contradicted himself like four times in ten minutes. It's impressive, even for him. [Reply]

Based on all the really dumb stuff people said about Drew Brees on Tuesday, I think you should just ignore the media at this point. Can’t please everyone no matter what. [Reply]
I’ve noticed a lot lately with guys like Cowherd, Sharpe, and Bayless that they clearly aren’t watching the games closely. They are looking purely at box scores and trying to draw conclusions based on that. Sharpe says the defense is awful because Bortles threw for so many yards, Cowherd cited 2 INTs that were quite meaningless in hindsight as Mahomes had his way with JAX defense most of the day, Bayless is well... Bayless. Fun to watch but only because of his character. [Reply]

I've been hearing the same thing from other media pundits all week, it's like they didn't even watch the game. Mahomes came back down to earth, ok don't be surprised this weekend when the Patriots are exposed for the rocking chair grannies that they are. These people didn't watch the game and often spout off stats that are just plain wrong but probably copied from other idiots that didn't research it.
Anyone taking the Patriots this weekend are just in it's the Patriots and they'll win no matter what mode. [Reply]

Think about it realistically. Even if it were your job, could you watch every college and pro football game, championship hockey, baseball playoffs, etc?
There simply isn't enough time in the day to watch it all. [Reply]
They for sure didn't watch the game. They certainly didn't analyze tape afterwards.
We could lose Sunday but personally I think Mahomes blows up. They simply don't have the talent or speed on the defense to handle that. Maybe the first half but by the fourth quarter those guys will need oxygen tanks. [Reply]

No but what else were they watching at noon last Sunday? It was billed as the game of the week. And they all talk about it like they didn’t watch a single snap. [Reply]

Probably were watching whatever was on Fox. [Reply]

Meh. After Bayless confused his College TDs and INTs I couldn't care less what these blowhards want to spew. They don't even pretend anymore. [Reply]

Bayless was watching the Browns. Twitter feed confirms it. He is Oklahoma Sooners fan and a big Mayfield fan.
Anyway the Jaguars defense and coaches know the truth. Mahomes moved the ball at will on them and they would have given up 40+ if the game wasn’t a blowout through 3 quarters. [Reply]
I think the fact that each week defensive players are screaming about how Mahomes handled them speaks volumes.
edit: and after the Chiefs win I'm eager to hear what the TRUE TEST will be moving forward. Expect a whole lot of over-inflating the Bengals performances soon. [Reply]
But you know what would help him with ratings? Being a contrarian on New England beating teams based on past success. Maybe analyze their team defensive speed. Maybe analyze how Tom Brady can't throw it deep anymore. Maybe challenge the audience about how New England expects to keep up with this offense. Maybe discuss the Chiefs' winning record versus NE all time. Maybe talk about how Andy Reid is one of the few coaches who has Bellichick's number in head to head matchups. Maybe research how close these games have been even when KC loses.
Maybe talk about anything other than the same old New England doesn't lose!! BS which has literally no bearing on what may or may not transpire Sunday. Legends don't put points on the boards. History doesn't stop teams on third downs.
Very quickly becoming an all-time favorite CP poster. Do work, son. [Reply]

Jax was supposed to be THE challenge that brought Pat to his knees. Pat rolled out of bed, scratched his balls, and proceeded to destroy the Jags.
I'm not even sure how that's coming down earth, TBO. [Reply]
