Save that for later. When you first meet her complement her about something other than just her physical looks. Complement something she's wearing, "I like your dress" or something non-physical about her, "You have a great energy about you" or "Your smile brightens up the room". This will disarm her more than "You look beautiful". Save the physical compliments until later, time them well and don't over-compliment.
