So much this, young Patrick needed a game like this

Tough day, yet still ran the #1 defense outta here like a drunk that showed up on our porch

The mere threat he represents changes the dynamics on multiple levels, to the extent that even when he is 'off'... we're still operating at a higher level than any defense

Boy already got the Pats on his mind. The Kingslayer is sharpening up his blade.

Those picks are as irrelevant -- and as useful -- as the ones in camp. Learn from them, move on. I bet he'll take a lot from them.

From what I can tell, none of his 3 big mistakes had a large impact on the game. Both interceptions happened at midfield, no big deal. Bortles fumbled on the very next play for the first one. The sack in the red zone was on 3rd and long. So he took a sack scrambling around. No different than throwing it out of bounds. They still got the field goal.

The most important part of the game I think for a young QB is protecting the football when you are in bad field position. The Chiefs had terrible field position to start multiple drives and every time, Mahomes led them out of there with good throws/decisions. This doesn't show up in the stat sheet, but it was a critical aspect of the game.

Mahomes is just good. Period. All the way around good and maybe even all world great in the future.

Swooning. I love how he's come in and taken over the identity of the team and they follow him like he's a battle-hardened veteran. It's a glorious time to be a Chiefs fan.

At first glance I didn’t appreciate it enough but goodness did he throw a couple of dimes today.

The downfield throws to Kelce and Hill were perfect.

He's a natural leader. They see he works hard off the field and makes plays on the field. That's all it takes for them to follow him.

he threw a couple of lasers as well. That one to Sherman was in a tight window

Finally got to see Mahomes play in person today.

It wasn’t his best game, but the guy is still incredible. In a game with a few mistakes, the Mahomes offense still put up like 400 yards and 23 points against the best defense in football.

If Mahomes is “on” today, the Chiefs score 40+...against the best defense in football. Think about that.

I just love that he's ALREADY talking about the Patriots.

That tells you exactly where his head is at.

There's no doubt he wants to put Brady's head on a spike right next to Roethlisberger's.

In a weird way, I feel good about it. First INT had to happen sometime. Second INT... Good learning to not get too careless. Both learning experiences, neither made in a crucial drive.

Pat running in TD's is just another weapon that has been added to the offense. Two in two games now for Pat and now when we reach the redzone teams are gonna be scrambling because we have so many ways to get that thing into the N-zone. Yes, him throwing for multiple TD's per game is great, but these sort of games where he puts up big yards, runs in a TD and has a few picks will only do him good moving forward because he'll learn from this and understand that the great QB's don't always have great stats every week, but what they do is put their team in position to win games and that's what Pat did today.

When a QB can have an 'off' day, and still crush the #1 defense... its just mind Bortling

Amen about all of those smart decisions that dont show up in box scores, the kid is just soooooo Money
