Vote in this poll if you actually live in Jackson county.
We've all shared our opinions in the other thread. But who gives a shit what somebody in Platte County or Johnson County or Phoenix or NYC thinks. We're all just noise. [Reply]

6) To redevelop TSC, after the teams leave, who pays the demo cost?
Look at KCMO, no pro hockey, no pro basketball, no pro baseball, no pro football, no leadership

Yeah but every discussion is 100% full dome, and from everything we're hearing Clark Hunt loves the idea.
I know people love the retractable roof idea. That would seem like a great compromise, but I have a feeling that once you have one of those set-ups it just becomes almost-always dome unless weather is perfect, which might be 3 or 4 games per year in KC if we're lucky. [Reply]
All the Jackson County residents who voted against this seemed to believe that it would mean the Royals would stay at the K and that they would get a chance to vote Yes on a “better proposal.”
Naivety.
Or, they complained about the deal the teams were getting (any public money = bad) while ignoring how much the 1% earnings tax brings in on game checks alone.
The teams did a shitty job of making the latter point, as did the city, and White’s vendetta against the Royals was a factor too.
The City and State might be able to pull something out yet, but the teams will get rosier deals because there’s competition now. [Reply]

Arrowhead is a tourist destination. The price of AH tickets will get you parking at a new stadium. But it will look pretty from the Interstate. Look to Buffalo, oh pie eyed ones [Reply]

It's such a waste to have a beautiful stadium that you can't use in the winter. [Reply]
