I am actually going to be hoping for a Donk win next week. I think that the Fade are the better team and that the Donks will fall away as the season progresses, so the better outcome for this game would be the Donks over the Fade. [Reply]
Denver is a team built to win in the playoffs. They're only going to get stronger as the weather gets worse.
:-) Okay. I'll bite. Please elaborate. I have got to know, how in the world, does your homer mind think that the Donks are "built for the playoffs" and will get better as the season progresses? [Reply]

It really doesn't need an explanation. Elite defenses thrive in the playoffs. [Reply]

By your own admission... you just posted that McCoy is utilizing the RB/TE more than the previous OC.
I said teams would start to to plan against tendencies after a few games...and the Bills decided to make Semenboy beat them. He threw 2 INTs...and over 40 passes.

I think Justin Simmons has hurt us. Most of the big plays we've given up can be blamed on him. But other than 1 or 2 plays a game, the pass defense is as good as it has ever been. [Reply]

You really think that the pass defense hasn't regressed? Take a look at the statistics vs. this time last year. Look at passing TDs given up, passing yards allowed, deep passes given up and number of sacks. I could be wrong, but I'm betting that nearly all of those numbers will be up from previous years. But the run defense is better. I believe that the new Donks staff has decided to focus on stopping the run and had has to sacrifice pass defense in order to do it. [Reply]

Not for the most part. They can still lock up anybody. Once they get the missed assignments ironed out they could be even better than they've been. Simmons can be a stud. [Reply]
