According to the Sulphur Daily News, Heather Daughdrill initiated the relationship in June and it continued until a complaint was filed in October. After her arrest on November 29, police told the paper that Daughdrill would pick her victim up from school without his parents' knowledge and subject him to sexual encounters. Louisiana cops also reportedly found sexually explicit texts between Daughdrill and her victim.
High school janitor faces charges for initiating sexual relationship with student
RICHLAND CENTER, Wis. (WISC-TV) - A janitor at Richland Center High School faces five counts of sexual assault after initiating a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old student last month, according to a criminal complaint.
Richland Center School District officials contacted the police department Oct. 10 to report "concerns of the welfare of a student at the high school," Richland Center police Chief Lucas Clements said.
Tracy H. Fry, 37, was arrested that same day.
Assistant District Attorney Amy Forehand told News 3 that Fry is a janitor at the high school. All charges are related to an investigation at the high school involving one male student, Forehand said.
According to the criminal complaint, Fry and the 17-year-old student started talking when he was at the school for athletic conditioning.
According to the complaint, Fry and the student engaged in inappropriate sexual activity five times between Sept. 22 and Oct. 7 on school property, including in the boiler room and in classrooms.
Another student told school officials and police the 17-year-old sent text messages and an audio recording to several students to prove the incidents were happening, according to the complaint.
Fry is expected to make her initial appearance Oct. 25. [Reply]

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- A San Jose high school community is in shock this morning, over the arrest of one of their teachers. Police accuse her of luring a student into a sexual relationship.
The East Side Union High School District sent out this letter to parents informing them about the arrest and also letting everyone know help is being provided to the alleged victim and his family.
Santa Teresa High School is the home of the saints. But one of its teachers, 32-year-old Trudy Hill was arrested for allegedly doing something criminal.
East Side Union High School District officials say she was arrested and booked on charges of felony sexual assault on a minor. Police say the investigation revealed Hill used her position of authority to exploit the 17-year-old male student into a sexual relationship between August and November of this year.

"The student is currently a senior at Santa Teresa. And yes, and so they had that relationship at school based on teacher student," said East Side Union High School District Superintendent Chris Funk.
Hill posted bail and was released. The English teacher taught for the first couple weeks this semester, but has been on medical leave ever since. East Side Union High School District officials say Hill was a teacher in the district since 2012, and at Santa Teresa since 2014. She was also the school's diving coach. Hill is the fourth district employee this year to be accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a student.

"I'm terrified by it, I'm disappointed by it because in public education we have a lot of trust that's established because we are a system of education and when an adult violates that trust because they're in a position of power and authority it puts a black eye on the entire organization," said Funk.
District officials say counseling is also being made available to students and teachers on campus.
"Aric Babbitt was not just a teacher to some of his former students; he was also a mentor.
To at least one of them, he was a father figure.
But authorities believe Babbitt used his position of authority to not only gain his students’ trust but also to exploit it.
Newly released police documents state that Babbitt, a 40-year-old elementary school teacher from Minnesota, and his 36-year-old husband, Matthew Deyo, sexually abused eight underage boys over the course several years, the St. Paul Pioneer Press reported.
The South St. Paul residents did not live to see any criminal charges against them. They were found dead in an apparent murder-suicide on an island in Washington state last August — shortly after they found out they were being investigated for sexual abuse.
Now, after a four-month investigation, the South St. Paul Police Department has released a 134-page investigative file detailing the extent of the alleged abuse. The St. Paul Pioneer Press, which obtained a copy of the documents, reported that underage boys were sexually abused at the couple’s home in South St. Paul, at Babbitt’s family cabin about 150 miles away, at Minneapolis hotels and at Deyo’s parents’ farm near Hastings, Minn.
The investigation into the couple began on Aug. 14, when a 16-year-old boy and his parents told police that he had been sexually assaulted, according to an application for search warrant and affidavit filed that month. Shortly after, investigators spoke to two more victims — the boy’s best friend and another teen who said he had known Babbitt since the second grade.

All of them told police that Babbitt and Deyo had sexual contact with them after giving them alcohol and marijuana, the affidavit says. They also suspect something had been slipped into their drinks because they felt almost completely impaired after consuming only a small amount. In most instances, the teens said they either felt pressured to have sex or were too intoxicated to consent.
The 16-year-old told police that Babbitt mentored him after he came out as gay to his parents, court records say.
The other teenager, the 16-year-old’s best friend, said the same. The transgender teen told police Babbitt and Deyo were her mentors as she was transitioning to female.
The third teen told police that Babbitt was his second-grade teacher, who helped him through his parents’ separation. Babbitt remained a father figure to him through seventh grade.
Babbitt bought them gifts, and took them out to dinner and on out-of-town trips. That wasn’t uncommon for Babbitt. Court records say he was friends with the teens’ parents, who trusted him to look after their children..."
