With two wins to start the season Trevor Siemian is starting to gain admirers around the NFL, especially from former broadcaster Phil Simms.
“I love the way he plays. I don’t think he gets the credit he deserves,” Simms said. “He hangs in there, takes big hits, he throws the ball on time, he throws it with anticipation and he throws a perfect spiral almost every single throw.
“I wish everybody would get over the fact that he is their quarterback. And ‘oh he wasn’t a high draft pick,’ or ‘he’s not a franchise guy,’ well you know what? I think he really is.”

Who knows how it all plays out, but if he ends 2017 better than 2016 ... he's still under contract through 2018. And, if they decide to resign him for big $ after this season, he will have earned it. Worst case, they still have another year to kick the tires. [Reply]

As I've already pointed out, Semen had a higher QBR last season to start the year. We all saw how that turned out....
He holds the ball too long...which is a bad combination when you have possibly the worst starting tackles in the NFL. He got hit hard against the Chargers and that was with Bowl-cut playing.
He wont have the thin-air and 5/6 string CBs this week...how does he do when the run game is stymied? [Reply]
You morons realize you started out EXACTLY like this last year, right? A soft early season pile high aided schedule is nothing new for Denver. Seamen is so good that he's only starting because Lynch is a disaster. His numbers in that thin air mean nothing. He doesn't look any different than Plummer, Griese did. [Reply]
Eggo...errr LA outplayed you AT HOME and it took missing a chip shot to survive for fucks sake. A fluke thunderstorm caused Dallas (already uncomfortable in that thin air) to cramp up and wilt. [Reply]
Against worn out, tired defenses. Not impressed. Leatry was a piece of shit before playing in thin air. Also, if Bolle cut is rated a 97, the system is broke. Also, Denver is a bottom 8 team according to PFF models. [Reply]
