Really good.
It really is a great way to mix happy hour(s) with dinner. That way there's no natural progression of Drink -> Apps (maybe) -> Main course -> dessert (almost never) -> go home. Like you, I think, nibbling on shared Apps during happy hour(s) allows for better conversation about the day/week, more drinks, more fun friends at the bar, and you can take home whatever you over-order (just like if you sit down to dinner).
Oh, and usually no silly sides that you didn't want anyway. [Reply]
This is going to be my saturday project, but using Old Bay (its not just for seafood) instead of whatever rub she is using, it looks absolutely delicious... like an oven baked shawarma
You foodies should check her out, she's slam full of creative ideas and gives you the full how-to in 5 minutes or less every time

I would look at Victoronix. I have a chef and paring knife from them and will buy more as I need them. The only steak knives I have are from a set and that set is pretty weak, but I can recommend the brand at a reasonable price 100%. And I've run my paring knife thru the dishwasher a bit and no rusting so I dunno what these are made from but it seems legit.

Dont do like me and get cheap and buy the Amazon basics. I gave them a chance but the serrations are so deep and wide it's like a crosscut rip saw. You try to cut and it digs in and slides on the plate. I sent them back no questions asked and refunded strange the ratings were good.
I am still looking and using my pocket knives I and my son rest family is still using the 4 for four bucks target specials. [Reply]
It all started yesterday at El Torito. My physical therapist, who's native to the area, gave me the inside track to a Mexican butcher with the best carne asada in the East Valley.
Red bag carne asada. Ol boy bags it then dumps in their marinade. Best to pick up a day before cooking. Just marinates in the bag. Probably cancer causing.
Cut is skirt steak which I cooked whole then chopped for later
Bacon fried street corn
Skirt steak chopped and back on
Flour tortillas if yous a real one
Bacon fried corn got the crema and cojita cheese treatment.
Tacos served with cilantro, homemade pico de gallo that I fermented mid week and a homemade fresno chili hot sauce.

Yep. I was shopping around and found a local place with a Blackstone deal that I couldn't turn down.
Still would rather have the grease drain in the front but after talking to the GC who did our floors, he didn't feel a rear drain would be a problem if I ever wanted to mount it into an outdoor kitchen setup. [Reply]
