Went light with a Thai chicken salad. Feel like there's going to be a lot of salads on the menu whenever its triple digits outside.
I hope you like salads because here comes 4 months of triple digits!!!! :-)
Great day for swimming though. We spent almost 2 hours out there this afternoon. Low 100's are the sweet spot for it feeling fantastic in and out of the water.
Hope your leg heals well over time. Don't neglect the PT, as simple as some of it may seem. [Reply]

Get well soon! Nice healthy choice - glad you were able to prepare for yourself. [Reply]
Ok, been a BAD boy! The wife made homemade meatballs and spaghetti last night which was incredible! Damn she is a good cook! So we used the leftover meatballs and did meatball and mozzarella cheese po-boys on New Orleans french bread. Outstanding! Man you just can't beat New Orleans french bread! :-) [Reply]

Baguette?
I should get down there again. I was down there in 09 with some work mates and we managed to eat exclusively shit. I know there is better food down there. [Reply]

I've got my eye on this Mexi-Q place in Gilbert. It has to be better than the Q I tried around Chicago but I'll probably hold out until prices come down before I gamble on it.
I also picked up some green chili bbq rub that I plan to try out on some ribs soon.
My PT who's a life long resident also gave me the inside track on a carniceria with carne asada that he claims is the best in the east valley.
Looking forward to stepping up my SW cooking game. [Reply]
