I'm glad the Chiefs knew what they were doing.
I wanted them both, but I preferred Watson because at the time Mahomes had very bad footwork and such a long windup of a release that he looked like a project to me. But as a Chiefs fan, I was thrilled that we drafted a 1st round QB who didn't come from a team that only ran the football.
