Shit...why are the Pat's even on our schedule? We didn't finish first in the Division to draw them. Oh I know why...because it draws audiences. [Reply]
Like was said during the broadcast...Denver is 20-1 at home in the first two weeks since the last bargaining agreement neutered conditioning. That includes some of what were shit Denver teams after that cheap start. Like I said, that Pile High air is fools gold. Denver is not a good team, folks. Dallas looked extremely uncomfortable in that thin air. [Reply]

It's criminal that teams are forced to play there... [Reply]

Broncos could start another 7 game, or more, win streak this year now that our SB winning D is back and we have a young home grown QB who is playing lights out at the helm.
BTW Charles is still looking good. They have stuck to their plan of giving him about 10 carries a game. His YPC is going back up too, ended the day with 5.1 yards up from 4 last week. I think they need to feed him at least 5 more to get a home run out of him. Maybe after the bye they will increase his workload.

Well, in the case of this year, we play them because it's the AFCW's turn to play the AFCE. We would have skipped them this year, had it been our year to match up with either the AFCN or AFCS. As the AFCW 3rd place team, we would match up against the 3rd place teams from the other AFC divisions (Colts, Bengals, and Bills). But, you rotate through the divisions every third year (every fourth year, for the NFC divisions), and we got the AFCE this year.
Since the AFCE has pretty much sucked over the last few decades, the Patriots can be pencilled in to win it each year. Since the Peyton-led Broncos teams (Tebow-led, too) kept winning the AFCW, it seemed as if we were just automatically set to play the Patriots every season. In reality, it only worked out that way because the rest of the division was having such a hard time keeping up with us. :-)
I should also mention that in the Pat Bowlen era (1984-present), the Broncos have had more Super Bowl appearances than losing seasons. What does that have to do with scheduling? Well, nothing. I just like mentioning it. :-) [Reply]
