I'd love to know how Durango, the logistical nightmare that it is, has the same gas prices as the NE coast where the transportation infrastructure is far more efficient.

Yeah, that is odd. Typically when we head out to the Rockies we know mountain gas is going to be more expensive.

I'll be in your fair state in July on vacation with the wife. With all the driving we're doing in KY and elsewhere, it looks like about 1200 miles total. If we can get 25 mpg, at 5.00 per gallon it's 240.00. Daaaaaamn...oh well, I'm going anyway, but that's gonna put a damper on my bourbon money.

I can't believe you're seeing that kind of difference on the flex fuel. We produce a ton of ethanol in my state and our prices are only like 20-30 cents different on it. I'd be using that if the price was so much cheaper here too.
