Okay, here is a place for the Golfers to talk about tournaments, clubs, swing help or thoughts.
Today is the Players Championship, which I think ought to be the 5th Major. Largest pot in the PGA. The daunting 17th, which seems to bring excitement every year. At least we will get to see Sergio blow up yet again.
Gotta feel good for this Yang dude. He stared down the best golfer in history and did what no other golfer has been able to do. On top of that, he became the first Asian-born player to win a championship.
As much as I like Tiger, much like Michael Jordan, I'm just sick of hearing how great he is. It makes it almost boring to think no one can beat the guy. [Reply]

Yup and realistically he should have putted out first. Their putts were within a foot of each other and it was unlikely Wang was 3 putting that. [Reply]
This is huge for golf, too. You know that, secretly, all the PGA execs were rooting for Tiger to lose. This will net them MILLIONS in the Far East now, from merchandise revenue, broadcasting rights, etc.,. (much like having Asian players in MLB and Yao Ming in the NBA have done). [Reply]
I'm going to guess that noone is real thrilled about having to face Tiger next year. He's going to come back pissed and more focused than he has ever been. [Reply]

Forget the Buick Open, it'll be the KIA/Daewoo/Samsung Open. [Reply]
When Yang hoisted the trophy, am I the only one who pictured Ken Jeong from "The Hangover"? :-) "Hey, Mista Woods... You always joke about Asian men in America... Who got the big d*ck now, huh? So long, gay boys! Toodaloo, motherf**kers!" :-) [Reply]
