Its mulled wine its a fall tradition mostly German but the Scotts and Irish do it too. Its easy to make just wine heated with spices and fruit. Never boil or you will boil out the alcohol.

Lots of recipes call for star anise so if you do not like licorice omit lol. I love licorice so it's down my alley and I don't like plain wine much.

Just about any German Octoberfest will have this and beer. I used to go to Concordia Mo every year for their fall festival and had it many a time. My Gran Pap grew grapes and made hi own wine and mulled wine at holidays was always around. I was too young to partake:-)
