Please spend more walls of text defending yourself on an internet message board while subsequently pretending you don't care about anything else. We all really believe you're a super well-adjusted individual! [Reply]

Don't you have some adults to chastise for playing videogames? [Reply]

This is America. Land of the free. If you want to play pretend, you have every right to do so. However, do not expect me to play pretend with you.
Andy is the same guy he's always been. Meaning that he will get you to the big games, he will get you a shot, consistently, but when it comes down to the SIDELINE needing to be great in the key moments, more often than not, there's going to be a gaffe of some sort. The exception to this is the second half of the Eagles Superbowl, which is just the cruelest of irony for Philly fans that watched him squander those rosters during his run there in which he ritualistically did the exact opposite of what he did in that game, multiple times.
He just happened to be gifted the best quarterback to ever live, that through sheer unprecedented talent, was able to bring those playoff teams back from double digit deficits time and time and time again.
No Mahomes, no hardware for Big Red.
Andy better have that kid induct him into the Hall of Fame, because he dragged his ass in there kicking and screaming.
No one thinks Andy is infallible, but your critique of him is beyond ridiculous. He was gifted Mahomes? When Mahomes was drafted it was well known that he was raw and it would take the right coach to make him what he is. Andy did that. Not saying Mahomes would not have still been good, there’s no guarantee that he would become the player he is…..unless you think he would be this good had Cleveland drafted him #1 overall.
Do you use the same standard for Reid as you do other coaches? One could argue that:
No Starr, no hardware for Lombardi
No Brady, no hardware for Belechick
No Montana, no hardware for Walsh
No Aikman, no hardware for Johnson
No Bradshaw, no hardware for Noll
That’s only a few names. What this does show is how hard it is to win even 1 title without an elite QB. This doesn’t mean that the HC is awful. Andy is one of the best HCs in league history. He needed an elite QB to get over the hump, but that could be said for almost all of the great HCs in the history of the game.
Your constant bashing on him comes not from facts, but from some weird irrational dislike of him. That’s why your takes regarding him are always viewed as they are. [Reply]

My critiques of Andy are objective, and factual. Andy Reid, through head scratching decisions, clock management gaffes, and terrible playcalling, squandered FOUR of the greatest rosters in Eagles history.
During that run, McNabb was a top 5 statistical qb. 3rd in yards, 4th in td passes, and second In playoff wins only to Tom bradys 14, with 9.
Alas, HALL OF FAME LEGENDS Brad Johnson and Jake Delhomme ended half of those runs. John Fox, what a legend. Jon Gruden, man. No shot. Mike Martz, forget about it.

Patrick Mahomes is the greatest player that ever lived. Veach pounded the table that he was the best he ever saw, in college. Mahomes is Mahomes because that's who he is. Not because of Alex Smith, not because of Andy Reid.
You really ****ing believe that Andy Reid has done ANYTHING but teach the kid his playbook and reap the rewards? Mahomes is on record, he did a barber shop interview on HBO. His MVP season, first year starting, HE COULDNT READ THE DEFENSE. Kid thre 5k yards, 50tds and couldn't read the defense.
So get the **** right out with this Andy is the reason he's good horseshit. Yeah Andy's so good the kid has to come back from down double digits in the biggest games of his ****ing life, because Andy likes to waste first downs like he doesn't need them. Dumbass play calls, surrender punts for 18 yards field position, and on and on.

I haven't followed their careers. I have followed Andy's career in full. I can tell you he's doing the exact same shit he's ALWAYS done. The critiques of him then are tge sane critiques we have now Now if these coaches were the exact same people when they got their legends, then they're up for the same criticism.
It's no coincidence that Andy stopped getting one and done in the playoffs the year Mahomes took over and it's been 6 straight title games since. 3-1 in Superbowls since.

The fact is that Andy squandered those Philly teams with poor coaching decisions. McNabb was good enough to win a title if Andy could've gotten out of his own way.
He gets Mahomes, and suddenly his mistakes aren't as magnified, because the kid can bring you back from down double digits when every other quarterback can't shoulder that load and win.
It has literally REQUIRED the greatest player that ever lived being on our team to win those titles.
Two separate coaches have come into Philly since Andy left and both of those coaches went to superbowls in their second year with lesser teams than what Andy wasted those 4 years.
He's the only title winning coach to take over 20 years to win his first title.
The only thing that changed with Andy was he got the best player that ever lived to mask his warts. [Reply]
