I mean a similar pedigreed OT who was healthy all season probably costs $18+ million. Even pro-rated and if all the incentives hit we got him for half that and he should be at full speed for the post-season.
Really nice resource management from Veach.
What percentage of your approval of this move is because of his name? [Reply]

Somebody's gotta play guard.
Morris will easily be better at that than Nourzad next year.
Bringing back Trey Smith just has to be a complete non-starter at this point. He has these streaks every year and he's just not a great pass protector. This isn't the right team for him. [Reply]
This is kinda as close to a “panic” move as you’ll find. And it’s not really “panic” per se but just understanding that LT is a real problem and we need to set a real floor at that position.
So happy they’re willing to recognize and aggressively (4.5mm!) address a problem like this midstream. Regardless of how it works out. [Reply]

I'd be willing to bet this has been in the works for quite some time. [Reply]
Honestly, would someone with knowledge describe how good he is? I know he’s likely an upgrade over Donovan Smith and way better than Wanya/kingsley, but what are we looking at here? [Reply]

I don't think it's that hard to find a decent guard. [Reply]
