Champagne problems no doubt but quite the deal we may have on our hands here in KC wins these next two and BUF loses to Detroit.
I think we need the rest bad. But how much? There's definitely such a thing as too much. And we need Hollywood to get his reps in at some point. [Reply]

Nah.
This isn't a team that's a first time playoff contender or whatever. Everyone talks about "they're saving themselves for the playoffs or saving plays" or whatever crap take of the day, but it's just rest.
They need as much of it as they can get.
Win the next 2, let Pitt and Buffalo lose, then rest. Hell.....kneel it out....run 3 times, punt, whatever. [Reply]

I have a hard time seeing that.
The only chance the Bills have in that game is to win a high-scoring shootout. Which means Allen has to go nuclear for an entire game and not make any mistakes at all.
The Bills just match up absolutely horribly with the Lions on defense.
The Lions do everything the Rams do/can do in putting up 44 on the Bills’ D, except better.
Better OL. Better running game. Passing game that absolutely dissects zone defense. Better overall offense despite being a step back at QB.
The Bills are going to have to blitz to get pressure, and even then, their back end isn’t strong enough to see that holding up well.
Gibbs on screens. St. Brown on hot routes, making one guy miss. LaPorta doing his thing. Jameson Williams on deep routes.
I mean, there are a LOT of answers for the Lions against pressure.
And they’re so damn good running the football I think Buffalo is always playing from the wrong foot. [Reply]
Bills don't matchup all that well with the Lions defense either. They aren't going to go into their house and push them around and bully them with the run game. Allen is going to have to sling it, and this Detroit secondary is better than the Rams.
With that said, the Bills can win this game, but it's going to take their best effort yet this season. [Reply]

And it would be wise to run a couple drives in Denver like a preseason game. Do not want these guys not playing for more than 2 weeks
Exactly.
We saw what happened when John Harbaugh went nearly a month without his players playing football. Bounced at home by the Titans, and MVP Lamar was a disaster.
They ran 89 plays and could only muster up 12 points.
Gotta stay in game shape, and as mentioned, gotta get Hollywood going with Mahomes. [Reply]
