I couldn't disagree more. CG firearms look like hot ass. Scorsese used CG gunfire for his last two movies. It looks like complete shit. The guns have no recoil. The muzzle flash is digital. The sparks and shell casings are digital. The blood is digital. And it all looks fake as fuck. CG is more expensive than a blank and a squib. So you're spending more money in post to make your film look like shit. It's incredibly lazy filmmaking.
Seriously, go watch The Departed with its magical CG laserguns and tell me it doesn't make a difference. [Reply]
I'm pretty sure Baldwin has handled weapons on set before, so it wasn't exactly like he was a rookie.
There are some questions to be answered before starting to point the finger. First, what was live ammo doing on the set? Second, what did the shot call for? Was the death and injury caused by a bullet or pieces of the weapon? [Reply]

She's as crazy as he is. Beautiful beyond belief in her 20s and 30s, but still crazy. I still fondly remember the Feb., 1983 edition of Playboy. Then there were a few scenes in 9 1/2 Weeks that should be required viewing for CP members. [Reply]
