The first drive TDs don’t really bother me as much primarily because those tend to be scripted for most teams. It’s the ones after that which are telling as then it becomes a chess match. It’s a chess match that Spags is very good at.

You go beyond “praising” that team.

Oh you're right and it almost feels like Spags LETS THEM do that to see what they are coming with, because after that the defense is just nails every possession.

It was a poor throw by Mahomes. He wasn’t off balance nor running for his life or anything like that. He put too much on it and then on the return he’s involving himself in the tackle/fumble recovery. There is zero reason why he, the star QB should be there. I get the hustle, but had he gotten injured then they would really be in trouble. I would rather him stay out of the play.

Two poor decisions by Mahomes potentially cost Rice a lot of games. This doesn’t mean he’s not still the best QB in the league. Even the greatest players in all sports make poor decisions at times. Look at Michael Jordan as an example.

Oh, well I didn't know this was an option. Boy, let's just do that then!

We are 4-0

So we can cry and whine like little bitches or do what everyone in that locker room is going to be forced to do and move forward. We should be thankful for every win that we get because every one is a step towards getting that one seed.

Every QB makes bad throws or bad decisions too. He makes among the fewest of any QB ever.

Get over it.

I'll say this (again) -- football is a game where folks get hurt when they're not focused. Or when they're overmatched. And the latter is for similar reasons to the former - you're putting yourself in awkward positions because you're being forced to. Either through poor execution or simply a talent deficiency, you're exposing yourself while trying to hang on.

Teams playing sharp, focused football usually just do not see many injuries. And weird stuff like this is part of that.

Don't throw the pick and Rice doesn't get hurt. Is it a fluke? Yes, but it's a fluke that's more likely to happen when you're playing careless and undisciplined football.

Mahomes tried to get in on that tackle because he was mad, IMO. And he was mad because he knew he screwed up. It's all part of the same malady.

Just get your heads right fellas or you're gonna see injuries continue to happen.

Many of us have said for years that Reid does exactly that.

He's the raptors in Jurassic Park - testing the fences for weaknesses.

There's a non-zero chance that Spags has learned that from Reid because yeah, it sure seems like he's just using that first quarter as a feeling out period. Much like Reid seems to do.

What are you talking about? I never said he makes tons of poor decisions, but he did make two of them on the same sequence.

But you missed that part in your attempt to be right. Get over it.

Yup, like the 1st round of a championship fight every time.
