We saw the warning signs after his diabolical mistake against Atlanta that gave up a TD. Then he was picked on against the Niners.

Veach really has to look at this because it's becoming an issue.

Dude Veach wouldn't give up a 3rd and some change for a four time pro bowl corner........

13 is a projected backup player playing like a backup player. Experiment is over. Time to make a change.

I don’t know what the hell Josh Williams did to get so deep in the doghouse, but at this point just give the kid another freaking shot. Johnson gets worse by the week, which means teams have recognized he is garbage and are attacking him. After what Allen just did to him, it’s open season now.

Get him the hell out, nobody else could conceivably be worse.

Makes me wonder how much money he wants. Supposedly had a impressive workout with the Bengals and was offered a contract but walked out without a deal. Maybe he would rather play for a Superbowl with the Chiefs?..

It always was open season on him. Thats why last Sunday happened. He was always part of Buffalo's plan. As was attacking our LT. The Chiefs can overcome it against teams like Denver and Tampa, but not against teams like Buffalo. The playoffs wont turn out well if at least one of those weak links doesn't improve.

When Watson comes back in week 18, y'all can breathe a sigh of relief...

McDuffie allowed 1 catch for 1 yard.

They literally came out, said "ok McDuffie is over there, so we're throwing on 13".

And they won.

Johnson has to go. Like we absolutely will get torched weekly if he's on the field

Everything adds up. The defense was elite last year because of the 2 CB's allowing them to blitze and get home more often.

The injuries have hurt that this year as Watson was playing well.

Same as the offense with the WR's and Rb going down.

They've got thru it all 9-1. Now the reinforcements hopefully start arriving.

Yes but God mode Beart Varch decided a 3rd was too pricey for a 28 year old four time pro bowl corner while we're trying to accomplish something no other team ever has.........

Goes back to what many of us talked about, what, 5 years ago?

Oftentimes offense is about having 2 or 3 great players. A couple of real difference makers that can simply make the big play when it counts.

Defense is less about having a couple great players as it is about not having any BAD ones.

Because good OCs will just sidestep whatever good players your defense has and abuse the lousy ones.

That's what made last season's defense so formidable - there just wasn't a bad player in the starting lineup. Well, that sure as shit changed when Watson went down.

And opposing OCs know it and have taken to just attacking the guy. And they'll continue to spam it, especially on critical 3rd downs.

It's crazy to me how 2 good weeks in the pre-season turned this guy into some kind of darling. He just ain't very good.

He pretty much was the sole reason along with Connor for why we lost. I think what happened was that WAtson got hurt and since then teams have seen enough of them on tape to realize they can be had.

So if we don't replace Johnson like, ASAP, the good teams will keep exploiting that and we won't threepeat.
