Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill was detained by police today entering the stadium for a driving violation, per his agent Drew Rosenhaus. But Rosenhaus said Hill will play today.
It was about what I expected. Tyreek aggravated them initially by simply being who he is and they decided to take their frustrations out on him (which only got worse once they realized who he was and others stopped to help him).

I hear you, but that is being awfully generous to these cops. You aren't legally obligated to roll your window all the way down. Even if it offends the poor, little officers feelings. What happened after that was 95% of the interaction.
Cops are trained in de-escalation. To be certain, only a fraction retain that training and employ it in the field. These shitbags get an F. [Reply]

In FLorida you are required to roll down your window at a traffic stop. Tyreek was being uncooperative and was giving the cop attitude about tapping his window too hard (which the cop wasn't). I agree the cops used a bit excessive force though once they pulled him out of the vehicle. Last thing you want to do is piss off a cop.

Yeah that was the opposite of what I was expecting. I actually get why the cops were a little worked up in the beginning, it was what happened after that felt definitely excessive. Ripping him out of the car, pushing him to the ground later, badgering calais Campbell for his license.
Tyreek was being a little dodgy in the beginning but it sounds like hes on the phone with rosenhaus getting live advice? He keeps asking Drew and then tells calaias to call him. Wonder if that's why he rolled up the window [Reply]
