I was very nervous about Roby for the entire game. I have to say that he made some great plays and I was pleasantly surprised overall. Von Miller sucked huge amounts of dick all night though.

I was really impressed by Quinton Carter, after missing what, 2 years? [Reply]

A lot of Aldon Smith's sacks are due to Justin Smith's non-called defensive holding penalties. There isn't a team in the league who wouldn't take Von Miller over Aldon Smith. [Reply]
Assuming you could put all injury and off-the-field issues aside, Aldon Smith is the clear choice. He's more talented and productive when on the field. He's the better football player.

Deal with it.
You sure? Aldon is surrounded by vastly better talent, and is a liability against the run and in coverage.
Von is clearly the best player on his defense, and is not a liability anywhere. In fact, he may be the best run defender on the team. [Reply]

Did PFF tell you that? The 49ers have had one of the best run defenses in the NFL since Aldon came into the league. He may be surrounded by talent, but I'm not sure you could ever make a case for him being weak against the run. [Reply]
