It's still early with him and there's nothing but upside... if it's Alex Smith type upside, there will always be a place for him as a starter. Maybe he's better, a bit early to tell really.
9-6 as a starter, 60% completion, 3,620 yards, 20 TDs and 11 INTs
4-11 as a starter, 55% completion, 2,160 yards, 9 TDs and 15 INTs
After 14 games, Trevor has a much better outlook. But, I know... the altitude, better home scheduling, taking over for a defending champ last year. Hell, Trevor's first 14 are pretty much in line with Alex's first 14 in KC... his 8th year in the NFL.
Trevor's a safe and likeable guy... similar to the guy you like now, but can't wait to replace. I like the path he's on, we'll see how it goes. [Reply]

Semenboy is playing better than even the most staunch Donko homer would have guessed through 3 games...but that's the catch, how good is he as the season progresses? How suspect is Denver's run defense?
I was re-reading posts from about this time last year...all the donko-homers were thinking they were going repeat with Semenboy leading the NFL at 146 QBR after 3 games.
Look who ended up being correct...:-) Semenboy's 2nd/3rd to last games... 13 and 18 QBR.
Funny that there only 3 Donk fans that post anymore. [Reply]

Can we call him a poor mans Alex Smiff. I think that would be appropriate. [Reply]

Only for a short while. Big Sweets Personnel LLC is in contact with two parties beginning the negotiations for a deal that will kill several useless birds with one stone.
Party A( we'll refer to this individual as The Drunken One )is amenable to a long-term contract for the services of Party B( The Middling Poop Shovel ), and is willing to compensate KC handsomely for exclusive, first acquisition rights.
The deal is done.

As it turns out, he suffered a grade 5 shoulder injury in week 5, and played the rest of the season with it.

I've noticed that you don't seem to bother with anything really factual when you sling around your opinions. In just the last few pages of this thread alone, you have some statements that are staggering, in their complete inaccuracy.
Good job there.
Between you and BlackOp (he of the weekly-changing conspiracy theories), it's difficult to imagine the quality of takes being of a lower quality, anywhere.
If the two of you ever got together in real life, I bet it would be like Raymond Babbitt and Lenny Small doing a roundtable - really compelling stuff! [Reply]
