Dorsey spends less than that in free agency and fixes the whole problem with Mitchell Schwartz.
Elway spends that money and gets two dickweeds, one as bad as the next. [Reply]

That was certainly part of the reason that the Donx escaped with a win. I think the fact that San Diego was even more awful was another. They did what they are famous for - Because Chargers...
Have you ever seen a worse BLOWN pic -six opportunity? LOL! [Reply]
The only reason Denver "escaped" with a win was because the officials blew three calls. They ruled Sanders' TD incomplete, messed up the Charles fumble, and missed a PI call on Siemian's INT (at least they apologized to the coaches after watching the replay). [Reply]

Excuses... excuses...excuses....No Manning = NO CALLS. You don't mention the "Pic Six" that wasn't nor the missed FG nor the other EASY pic the Bolts botched... :-)
Fact is, Denver did escape with an unimpressive win at home and looked every part of an 8 -8team, and the Bolts looked even worse. Your boyz are very fortunate that was a home game and for their front loaded home schedule (yet again) to keep them in it early. They'll fall like a lead balloon afterwards. [Reply]
First off, Bronco fan here. You guys looked very impressive in week 1. Im excited for our two matchups this season.
I'm a little curious about some of the comments made here regarding our first game. I think it's accurate to say that the Broncos completely outplayed San Diego for three quarters and then made several mistakes that almost let them tie it up. I dont understand how anyone could say that they looked bad or got lucky. In fact, bad luck and stupid mistakes were the only thing keeping this game from being a multi-score win.
Now, if you believe that the Broncos will continue to turn the ball over twice in the fourth, miss crucial, makeable field goals with a kicker that has the highest fg% in team history, and won't adjust for the fact that their RT sucks next time, you can go ahead an believe that we'll be an easy win for you. I know the Chiefs are peaking as a team right now compared to years past and are a more complete team right now than the Broncos, but the difference isnt so great that we cant steal one or even both from you if you're not on your A game. Stealing wins is what your team does...cheating the cap, greasing jerseys, early thin-air home games or HGH.
NFL has set their fans up for false hope...4 of 5 at home to start. Teams will have tape on McCoy's plans for Semenboy right about the time they hit the road.
Do you remember how last season ended? You are going to see Brock start a few games with that o-line.
Enjoy barely beating the 5-11 Chargers on a 2nd FG attempt...LA dropped a pick six and committed PI on the Rivers interception. Your vaulted defense nearly gave up 17 4th quarter points. [Reply]
