This could be the real Rickey or it could be a troll.

Good info. It's also worth pointing out that the future years in these deals would be non-guaranteed and they could be cut with no dead money, with the exceptions of Ridley and Kupp. Ridley's 2025 salary is guaranteed, and Kupp has a $5 million guaranteed roster bonus. [Reply]
Trade for Tyreek and let’s go win the next couple superbowls. I don’t care if it’s our 2025 first and third to get it done. If Tua is cooked, you don’t need TH this year and the team would be best served moving him while his value will never be higher. I give this option a 5-10% chance of happening if Tua won’t be cleared, as rumored. They just extended the coach, Tyreek and Waddle and are all in so it’s highly doubtful they would be open to this conversation.
Trade a 3rd or 4th for Dionte Johnson. His skill set would be lethal in this offense and he’s young enough to be able to be a producer during the whole contract.
Same comp for Christian Kirk. It’s almost a 2a 2b situation because Kirk already has a working knowledge of the offense and has a skill set that would eat.
Next would be a 4th/5th for Hopkins. He’s basically Rice. Same style and at his age, he would have a chance to produce at a similar level as RR was …and do so this year and likely next. He’s older, but he still has it and would immediately make this WR group legit.
If you can’t secure a deal for one of those guys, just rally the troops and hope someone steps up. [Reply]

That is pretty aggressive but I like the thought process. People need to just accept the fact that 2026 is going to be rough. We'll still get dragged to the playoffs because of Mahomes but by then Kelce will almost assuredly be gone and Chris Jones in all liklihood will not be the player he is today.
We should be in win now at almost any cost for this year and the next. This is the exact scenario where you overpay for anyone that makes you great this year and next. [Reply]

Yup. Like we’ve done before we can rebuild very quickly especially since jones and kelces contracts will be off the books. I know people want to think long haul but we haven’t even done the desperate cap manipulation teams like buffalo have done.
I always point to how the patriots maintained their dynasty. Reload/rebuild/reload/rebuild… rinse repeat. They stocked the cupboard then a few years later picked an offseason to clean the cap, stockpile picks through trades, make no moves and collect on a shitload of comp picks. We’ve had the luxury of not having to do that yet but that’s a really quick way to reset quickly. And unlike teams like the bills we won’t be hamstrung by a lot of cap manipulation [Reply]
