When we went down 14-0 I stopped watching cuz I had to get some shit done this evening. I started watching some TV with the wife and had no clue how the game played out (I figured they'd gotten blown out). I was extremely surprised. I cant believe they pulled this one off. [Reply]
I was with my wife last night at her class reunion but I was able to listen. After the 0-14 start, I decided to turn it off for a while and socialize with a bunch of people that I didn't know. Once I got that out of the way, I turned the game back on just in time to hear them go up 17-14. I pretty much listened to the rest of the game from there. I was listening on the Sirius XM app on my phone and couldn't find the Mizzou feed, so I had to listen to the Kentucky announcers, but it was better than nothing. Seems like Kentucky pretty much imploded with turnovers, penalties, and horrible punts. But the defense caused a lot of that. I wish that I could have seen that fake punt. I'm going to have to hunt down a highlight of that. [Reply]

Drink is going to do his best to get Mizzou at the seat of the big boy table, let’s just see what he does. Hopefully he can work himself into the good graces of the SEC. Its going to take time. [Reply]

No homer trash just not a whiny bitch who can take a tough loss.
OH THIS IS A CRUSHING DEFEAT FOR OUR ENTIRE PROGRAM :-) [Reply]
It was. Don't be too blind to see what a win could have done. You are focusing too much on the loss. A win over LSU and being undefeated going into Georgia should have happened...A chance to prove themselves in SEC play isn't a big deal to you? [Reply]

Sure it would've been.
But what he's saying is "Hey, beat LSU then lose to UGA - you're still not winning the SEC East - lose to LSU and then BEAT UGA and you have a puncher's chance..."
Losing to LSU didn't take anything off the table. And I mean NOTHING. Win out, beat UGA, go the the SEC championship game, win that and you're in the Title game.
Is there even a 5% chance of that happening? Nah - but beat LSU or not, none of that is very likely. And the odds of that didn't change appreciably by losing to LSU.
Now if we somehow manage to beat UGA but lose to, I dunno, Florida - You have a point. [Reply]
