Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

Impossible to tell from that angle if his toe touched, but the point is that is an indefensible throw that only a few QBs I've ever seen can make with any kind of regularity. That's Manning to Harrison shit. (Except Manning wouldn't pull it off on the run) [Reply]
Keitzman never fails to amaze me. Holthus was on talking about people who root for their predictions that Mahomes would fail(I think it was a subtle jab at KK) and Keitzman just completely agreed.
The guy thinks everyone has forgotten how much he hammered Mahomes last year.

Yeah, Peyton never had that kind of arm mixed with the mobility. Aaron Rodgers/Brett Favre/John Elway would be the better comparison here. [Reply]
Watched the first quarter on the replay. Pat actually struggled in the first half a bit. Over threw Watkins, under threw hill on the deep shot and took a bad sack [Reply]

The first quarter was all Andy Reid.
Even so, Mahomes taking two deep shots probably had a big part in getting two scores. [Reply]

I more meant the pinpoint placement and timing along with a WR with the ability to make that kind of play. If that's from the pocket, it's a play that Manning and Harrison just killed defenses with.
Overall, though, no Manning is not a good Mahomes comparison. [Reply]
