They have a lot of flaws but they are also good enough they can play poorly and beat a good team on the road while setting aside some of that dogma and a losing mentality that plagues so many who watch Mizzou. I mean look at some of the miserable ****s in this game thread.
They are a fun team to watch will be interesting to see things progress.
Lots of Mizzou fans are intent on being miserable and always expecting things to fall apart. The latter might be understandable but the former is a choice [Reply]
I give Drinkwitz a ton of credit for that win….to go down 14-0 being completely outplayed, keep the players bought in, and then rip off a 38-7 run is pretty damn impressive.
I’d argue that’s his best win since coming to Mizzou.
Great job by all the players and coaches….MIZ! [Reply]
No, I get that. What has he "turned back into" in this scenario? I mean, he hasn't been outstanding or anything, but he's playing winning football and very clearly leading the team. Is THAT what he's turned back into? It doesn't really make sense, no? [Reply]

I mean...if you disagree with the take on Cook that is fine I don't really know what is so hard about the obvious reference being made. [Reply]

They showed a lot of mental and physical toughness tonight hoping we come out strong next weekend. [Reply]

It was as ugly a start as you could have really, at 14-0 you're thinking they're going to get blown out... then they win by 14. Drink gets some credit there. A team with a poor mentality or a lack of belief isn't going to do that. [Reply]

I got the reference; I just didn't see how it applied. Would we similarly suggest the defense "struck midnight" due to the LSU game and the first few possessions tonight? [Reply]

Since the end of the first quarter #Mizzou has outscored Kentucky 38-7 and outgained the Wildcats 309-80

Gutsy win, especially after getting down a couple of scores early. They weathered the wave of momentum that Kentucky grabbed early and shoved it back up their back sides. It was fun to watch. [Reply]
