Always felt like Mahomes would make us competitive because of his physical ability but by the sounds of things, he’s one of those elite QBs on the mental spectrum too...

I just can't get over that he's doing all of this in his first 4 starts.
Most young qbs are going big TE sets, throwing dink and dunk passes off PA. Meanwhile our guy is going 5 wide and bombing it downfield.

I was extremely close to that play and Pat did not overthrow him. He 100% ran out of gas at the end of his route. You could see it in real time, and the when the ball went over his head you could 100% tell it was because he was slowing down. Hell, he could barely get off the field before the next play he was so winded.
