That is a lot for an aging often hurt WR, BUT "IF" healthy it would be worth the contract. HUGE IF of course.

FWIW. Haven’t had a chance to listen yet

“The Chiefs are trading for a receiver. It’s going to be someone under 30.”

Yeah apparently Taylor also said they were never in on Cooper bc he’s 30.

If it’s not Diontae, what other young reclamation projects are out there?

How on Earth would he know the age of the WR but not the name?

Could be that he knows but isn’t allowed to let the name out yet.

Thats generally how Taylor has done business. A lot of hindsight reporting on the transactional stuff.

Nate said the Chiefs are more than likely trading for a WR unless some weird shit happens over the next 2 weeks. Basically if Carolina starts stringing wins together

That actually jives with what that Rickey account was saying.

He tweeted that Johnson was a Chief but it wouldn’t be announced before the game this week…

Hopefully they have parameters agreed to.

I mean Steelers got a CB and pick swap for Johnson?

Maybe do the same with Panthers but send them Skyy.

Yeah, a bunch of were talking about Diontae Johnson being a perfect fit for KC here last year when our #1 WR was Justin Watson or Toney.

He can play every WR position, which the Chiefs love, and can be a #1WR in this offense.
