It seems like a move that didnt need to be made...unless he's banking on getting a mercy comp pick when TJ signs with Wade?
Either way...it sends a "throw in the towel" vibe for the season...I cant see how signing Brock is good for team morale either.

Can't get a comp pick when you cut a player. [Reply]

Then it makes even less sense...unless the Vegas masters sent notice.
Denver was 9-7 last year...on the strength of their defense. There is no way this cut helps them..on any level. He was gone next year anyways... [Reply]

Definitely wasn't a money deal... he missed 6 games the last two seasons and all of preseason with a hamstring injury. They like the guys on the depth chart a great deal, so they made the cut and ate $1.2M dead cap vs the $4M and deal with uncertainty at injury.
It is what it is... time for the young guys to step up. Now, Ward is getting paid $5M for a year with the Bucs. [Reply]
Lynch is so bad they had to bring back Brock.
Slotted was so bad they had to bring back Brock.
Their confidence in Semen is so low they had to bring back Brock.
This is the only team in the NFL that ANY of these guys would start for.
Elway is an absolute disaster other than "Lucking" into Manning breaking his neck in a season with one of the best college prospects coming out to take over in Indy. [Reply]

Just in case someone didn't read this post in the other thread, eh? :-) [Reply]
