One of the best WR prospects at the catch point and winning leverage mid-route. He consistently sets up defenders to put them on his back, locates the ball, and attacks it at the highest point.
Rashee Rice was drafted with pick 55 of round 2 in the 2023 draft class. He scored a 9.53 #RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 145 out of 3062 WR from 1987 to 2023. https://t.co/lwD9tvVPvvpic.twitter.com/YjucxErSE1
He's not the fastest guy in the world over a 50+ yard sprint, but he seems to have elite acceleration in the first 5-10 yards. Love those short passes to him where he just gets up field very quick instead of dancing around like other receivers. [Reply]

Yeah the 40 time nobody believed seems about right He doesn't have break-away speed but his acceleration is great. TBH it's perfect for that Juju role of quick hits and 15-30 yard-ish chunk plays. I think when they also build in some of the back shoulder stuff they got in sparingly for Juju there's at least another gear with Rice. [Reply]

He's looking like a steal for sure. He's outplaying most every rookie WR outside of a couple.
I think we all feel much better about our WR's today than in week 1. Mecole's presence alone gives them an explosive element they've simply been lacking. [Reply]

It's terrifying how quickly he gets up field. You don't need any fancy jukes or moves with speed like that, just run straight ahead. [Reply]

Was that the deep ball? I feel like mahomes got rid of it a bit too soon. Seemed like he was throwing it on the out instead of the up. But good to see us start slowly working in the kind of throws to rice. We haven’t even hit the tip of the iceberg of what he can do with intermediate and sideline routes. [Reply]

I said it in the draft threads and SR has confirmed it. He is in fact a SWEETIE. People are gong to be regretting not drafting him for years to come. [Reply]
