I've got work trucks, and it's not lifted. Actually I will probably lower it just a little and am pretty sure we have settled on wheels.
It's a nice truck. If I was going Ford I definitely would have hit hometeam up. He tried to convince me.
And I paid less than I found some 14s for with less options [Reply]
The FCA released the final production numbers for the 2015 Scat Pack Shakers. They also announced that the B5 Blue and Sublime Green colors are being officially retired. Next year the Orange and Plum colors replace them.
US Total
Global Production total
2015 Scat Pack Shaker
1,180
1,379
Sublime Green
214
243
8 Speed Automatic
132
149
I ordered all the options on the car. That should lower the 132 number of similar cars to mine in the USA. With them using the Sublime Green for only one year and then retiring the color increase the futire value?
What do you guys think? Will it be worth anything in 20 years? [Reply]
Lots of reports out there of people hitting the 3.9 sec in a 0-60mph. But, I can't get it faster than 4.1. Lose too much traction at the start. I've asked and the car geeks say there is too much torque on the rear axle/wheels and you need drag radials to get to that 3.9.

True?
You asked what it will be worth in 20 years old man! Or did you forget already?!
And no fucking idea about that. Probably just driver error. Or shitty tires. [Reply]

It's stock tires. Definitely could be driver error.
Still no tickets. Was taking a neighbor out for a ride and did a power slide around a corner and a cop was on the corner. Didn't do anything but continue to sit there. Had many times that I unleashed the loud as fuck 458HP hounds and cops didn't pull me over. [Reply]

Get some soft rubber tires if you want more traction. What are the stock tires on it? Not sure how much driver error it could be since it's an automatic? It's not like you are worlds apart from 3.9.
And obviously you have the cops paid on the books BRC. I was reading that having no mufflers is technically illegal. I passed emissions here with them off though. I'm not sure it matters if your car looks legit, that anything would ever happen. I am surprised my neighbors haven't complained yet but I'll wait until they do.

I am sure drag radials would help over the stock tire and I am sure you have some pretty decent tires on it now. At the track where they did the testing they likely used a different tire and lower air pressure.
Though I have run nothing but drag radials on my car and still don't get much traction for some reason. It will break the tires loose at 40mph fairly easy. :-)
