Maybe it's just because they're not usually something I'm looking for, but simply cannot remember the last time I've even noticed them in the veggie aisle at multiple stores
These are from Costco but they're in the little bins in the fridge at Aldis for like 2/bag if you're looking. [Reply]

Yeah, I've had good success with Aldi's bsprouts. I found you have to cook theirs within a day or two. Aldis produce won't last long in the chiller bin. [Reply]
Aldi buys the B stock produce after the big boys buy the good stuff.
I buy lots of their produce. sometimes cheese

OK, no diving, no hockey, and not interested in knocking out any of Mrs. GloryDayz ever-lengthening to-do list, so we're going to the farm this weekend to bow hunt. We decided to make it an even better weekend by prepping a venison shoulder and tenderloin for doing Sous Vide. We're going to go 6 hours at 130 this time, and we added butter to the coating (along with sea salt and cracked pepper). And Mrs. GloryDayz decided to make an egg casserole that included some venison burger along with the sausage and bacon. That the son decided to sample already!!! Yes, it's 100% healthy! :-)
I'm going to make this for dinner tomorrow. It's hard to find stuff that both my wife are enthusiastic about since she's mostly vegetarian, but I think this will fill the bill. We both like risotto and we both like coconut.

Is your son a horse? That's bite that burger commercials would be proud of.
The eggs look killer, waiting for details of how "Bambi" turned out

I bet that bacon fat brought that venison right up where it needed to be so you could have the best of both worlds. I never do egg casseroles but I think I should try. [Reply]
Can't eat it tonight, but gonna brag about getting one soon anyway
A few years ago me and some buddies went to an Accept concert in Chicago, before the show we stopped in at world famous Portillo's for some eats, my first time eating there
Ever since then I've always said that their dipped Italian beef, dragged through the garden with giardiniera and bell peppers was the single best sandwich I've ever eaten... anywhere.
And there's one opening soon just 25 minutes away :-)
I'm telling ya man, it looks so simple but is just so perfect... the extra rich au jus dip just sets it off
All thats missing in this pic is the green peppers
