Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

And... I mean... Mcnabb.
He could throw screens and Bombs. Accuracy struggles everywhere else.
So he was a lot like Cam. Andy also ran it like 45 times a game during McNabb's first 2 years.

Do you believe our running game is as complicated or central to our offense? C'mon, that's apples and oranges. [Reply]
do you believe that Bienemy was only involved in the running game as the Chiefs RB coach?
I mean....mostly.
Do you believe Emmit Thomas is responsible for knowing about the pass rush? Outside of some specialized blitzes, I doubt it. Just as I figure Bienemy would be focused on his RBs baseline responsibilities in the passing game but hardly the more advanced WCO concepts and option routes.
It just didnt seem likely to be as seamless a promotion as it would've been for Pederson and Nagy. I dont think those concerns would have been unreasonable. [Reply]
I've watched PTI for at least 10 years. I can't remember them ever leading off a guest segment with Chiefs unless we were in the playoffs coming up and then maybe.
First question to Steve Young today: is Mahomes sustainable?

It kind of blows my mind that Reid and his underlings wouldn’t have conversations about aspirations and potential roles. Surely Reid has guys below him who he feels could be promoted to higher positions and grooms then accordingly. To think that he would promote Bienemy without some indication that he understood and meshed with Reid’s offensive philosophy seems very naive to me. [Reply]

I can't remember who said it last night (Aikman?) and I don't remember the exact quote, but it was about Darnold, and the word 'safe' was the key word.
That's why.
And all those GMs are crying themselves to sleep that they played it 'safe' (I hate that word in NFL terms, it doesn't even make sense - Robert Gallery was 'safe'). [Reply]

Yea and they'd tell you he played in the NFL for like 10 years or something so that's better than a QB bust. [Reply]
