They are also high on Jamal Carter depth wise and seem to want to use him and Simmon's in a hybrid LB/Safety role. In their man heavy scheme a lot of teams attack the LB's in the pass game so having a smaller faster guy who can tackle, run and cover is important. They don't have a 2nd ILB who can cover well so bring an extra safety down on 3rd downs makes sense. Carter has played well this PS also.
Yeah, can't wait to see Vajonas 23rd ranked defense he ran in Miami installed in Dungver!! [Reply]

Alex has really just destroyed that 'no fly zone'... you're right.
Alex never does put up a lot of touchdowns. That's a given. But that 230 passing a game is about 50 yards per game better than he normally does. So by that standard, Alex is having his best games against the Donks. [Reply]

So a former D.C., who's now a HC isn't gonna want to run the D his way? I mean I realize Andy Reid isn't the OC, but he still runs his offense! [Reply]

Correct, Joe Woods will run the show... sure, Vance will have input just as any HC has input. You want to paint a picture that Vance is calling the shots for both, I don't think that will happen. [Reply]

Wildly inaccurate...
2016, yardage totals against DEN = 220 and 244 ... Alex had six games with yardage totals greater than 244.
2015, yardate totals against DEN = 191 and 204... Alex had seven games with yardage totals greater than 204.
Try again, hot shot. (my 230 comment was an 'eyeball guesstimate', the real avg vs DEN is 214 last 4 games) [Reply]
I'm idly watching the Packers against the Broncos. They should move Jamaal to left tackle, because he's a better blocker than Bolles.
I also find it interesting that two Broncos starters got into a fistfight on the field after the play. A fistfight with each other. Todd Davis and Aqib Talib were throwing punches and the team had to pull Davis away from Talib.
That team is completely out of control. I don't think the coach has any command at all. [Reply]

Says a guy who's team is paying $20Mill to a run stuffing edge setter.
Is Hali still on PUP? I thought he was ready to go via his Tweets. Dee Ford has done nothing this PS. You guys are trading to upgrade ILB depth for a guy who's knee is still sore, you have only one CB worth anything and One Safety. Your other guy has to rely on the Peanut Punch after he gets beat to make plays.
Broncos are thin on DL and missed Trevathan big time but Trevanthan had glass knees and missed the majority of last year with duh bears anyway.
Hard to keep the Best D in the NFL at the top that long. At least our secondary is good and we still have the best pass rusher in the NFL. Should get Wolfe back soon with Ray not far behind. Then you will feel the pain. [Reply]
