That's what I don't understand about what Pat is doing these days. He's GETTING himself hit. His indecision back there is what leads to his hardest shots pretty much every game.
But when he hits his drop and fires, things work. And he has guys with big frames and large catch radiuses. He needs to be more aggressive on when he lets them use those. All too often he gets back there, expects to see someone Tyreek open because he dusted a guy and then when he doesn't see that, he pats the ball and starts dancing.
Man, if you have the look you wanted and the receiver doesn't fall down - throw it. Let him make a play on the ball.

Other QBs are doing it. We aren't.
You're right, but also... the two huge conversions were not decisive. Those were extended plays that either did end with him getting hit, or nearly did. Great plays though.
But yes, they really need to focus on executing a quick rhythm passing game out of the chutes. Starting the game with a 6-yard out isn't a bad option when the DBs are playing 8-10 yards off all night like they were yesterday. [Reply]
I told some folks pre-game, it probably is gonna look real rusty Sunday night. Hopefully the fresh legs really start to show after he gets through these next couple weeks which are essentially his training camp. [Reply]
He did good. He wasn’t great, or amazing but better than what we’ve had at LT all year.
What was interesting though, having him in there and offer more protection sort of exposed the other weaknesses on that line. Creed had a bad game, Taylor and Trey did not have a good game at all. Right now I wouldn’t be pleased with paying Trey [Reply]
