The scenes with Mark Hamill and Snoke were interesting.
Everything else really sucked bad.
Spoiler!
And why in holy heck couldn’t the First Order hyperspace another ship in FRONT of the fleeing rebels? Literally half the movie is a low-speed chase so various characters can jet off to other planets to find other characters with missions that aren’t even completed - so stupid...

Spoiler!
1. Luke milking Mugwamps
2. Leia flying through space like Superman
3. First Order unable to send TIE fighters or hyperspace in front of the Resistance ships - stupid
4. The entire mission to the casino accomplishing nothing
5. Laura Dern refusing to tell anyone what the plan is - why?
6. Does anyone know anything new about Snoke?
7. Wasting all the new characters and the realization that almost the entire movie is irrelevant
8. Using hyperspace ships to blow up superior ships - why have battles when you can just send drones at hyperspace speeds at your enemy
9. Astral projection
10. Taking out Luke in such a terrible way - now I understand why Hamill hated the script
Laughing at Disney giving Rian three more movies — he really screwed this up, although I’m sure Disney is largely responsible for not knowing why Star Wars is different from Marvel but I could be wrong...
I thought the direction and pace sucked in the first act. The action scenes were great, but the conversations were directed so poorly. And Mark Hamill still sucks as an actor especially playing a tortured soul.
Rain needs to not be allowed near a Star Wars movie again. WAIT! He got 3 more movies? [Reply]
I'm a little depressed, and confused how they'll progress the story since Luke,Snoke, and Carrie Fisher are dead. Will Rey and Ben Solo Goku up and deux ex machina without their masters/mentors
And come on man he's not turning to the good side, that's in the third movie. Droppping hints throughout the first two
Movies he needs some self preservation or he's dead. I didn't see a single spoiler but knew that was a 3rd movie plot point. He gets with Ren, what's thev3rd movie about? Give me a break. But the audiences loved it. AND Luke dies by disappearing like a cheap Branson magic act. W T F!!!!!
Man, it must suck to never enjoy anything. I thought the movie was good. Some moments that were a little off, but overall I enjoyed this movie and believe it was a fine installment in the series. Ready to go see it again. [Reply]

I loved TFA and Rogue one.
I thought this movie was a Giant POS with zero payoff. [Reply]

Really liked Rogue One (a movie that gets better on subsequent viewings). TFA was mediocre but a nice trip down memory lane with all the perfunctory introductions. But this movie is just bad. There is about 45 minutes that literally doesn't need to be in the movie, slows everything down, and requires one of the stupidest bits of reasoning to even occur that I couldn't believe they were actually doing it.
Everyone has been hailing Rian as the second coming of Irving Kurshner and what he's turned out is alternatively boring and stupid. What they did with most of the characters is dumb. The secrets we've all been wanting answers to either now don't matter, were never answered, and/or showcase that the creatives decided they'd pick about the lamest direction to go.
I don't want to spoil anything for fans (even though this is a spoiler thread), but what Leia does in this movie, what Luke does in this movie, what Ren/Rey do in this movie with the help of the Force is just stupid, stupid, stupid. [Reply]
