Rickey is very, very legit
Ridley is interesting given he just signed a deal but I guess you’d probably wanna do the same with Johnson

Also said the Steelers are trading for Mike Williams.

Not sure if that’s the real Rickey though

Trade for Ridley, sign MVS, dump Skyy Less, win another Super Bowl.
Sounds good.

Ridley turns 30 in December and just got paid so I’m a little hesitant right now to believe that’s real
Just would not go with Veach’s track record at all

Had a chance to sign him for just $ and no draft capital, now gonna give a pick?

Well, that was before Hollywood and Rice got knocked out for the year
But maybe to your point, no it does not seem Veachy to go after an expensive 30 y/o receiver

Question: Calvin Ridley’s cap hits are:
2024-$10 million
2025-$28 million
2026-$26.75 million
2027-$27.25 million
A post June 1 trade says they have $20 million in dead money ($5 million each year).
So that basically means his cap hits would be $5 million less each year for us correct?

It would be whatever his base salaries are I think

Just looked. It would basically be the same. Low $20 million cap hits for him starting next year.
So a steal considering the market. Would still want Diontae tho

That's how stupid the Ridley part of that tweet is.

I’d do Diontae first for sure and I think regardless of if that Rickey is fake, it’s still very plausible
Pay him for the next 2-3 years while Rice and Worthy are on rookie deals

The Dionte piece is very plausible.
Including Ridley is a missing chromosomes type comment.

Diontae Johnson was seemingly the Chiefs preferred WR choice this offseason, and Hollywood was Plan B… ironic that the Chiefs could be in a position to get their originally preferred option.
