Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

It was a 55 yard throw across his body without his feet under him. Chris and Phil Simms raved about it when they reviewed the film. The throw was on the money and would have been a stunning TD if not for that safety pulling a miracle deflection.
He made throws like this all the time at Tech, but a lot of media people are too lazy to research it.
In the preseason I saw him make a 40 yard pass on a frozen rope and noticed neither of his feet were actually on the ground when he threw it.
This is the stuff only obsessed fans are seeing.
I'm a Kansas fan so...yeah I don't really watch college football. Over the past two years I've been watching Tech games and this shit is BONKERS.
10 interceptions in 591 attempts when every pass, every possession he's asked to score to have a chance of winning the game. This guy is calm in the pocket because he's basically been throwing at and NFL season pace for 2.5 years. [Reply]
I thought this was a good read from Reuters, the writer apparently has more than a passing knowledge of football... he tamps down expectations just a bit, but overall he does a great job of breaking down some key plays and explaining whats so great about Mahomes
