It's what is keeping him from being an elite QB. If he HAS to throw, he's just a guy.
Exactly. Absolutely where I am coming from. [Reply]

Cleveland is legit, but Mahomes is Mahomes. Browns would've beaten anybody else with that performance. They're legit.
This. They're the second best team in the AFC and we've barely beaten them at home twice. They dominated line play on both sides for much of the day and ran all over us. Mayfield looked great.
That has to be a real kick in the dick though. Play an almost perfect game well into the second half, up multiple scores, then KC pulls off their typical black magic bullshit to win :-) [Reply]

Mayfield throws a tight ball and seems extremely accurate on direction and his only misses are on depth and he seems above average on that also.
The INT to Hughes was a tight spiral even though he was getting tripped up and was not able to throw it as far as he wanted.
Stefanski came from the Vikings and Mayfield plays a little like Kirk Cousins except Mayfield is much more athletic and seems to have a more winning mentality. [Reply]

He's very similar to Tannehill in that when the down, score, and distance is on target he can make plays. Get behind and he's just not able to make the plays needed to win a game. [Reply]
Guys...almost every QB ever is more successful with a running game and favorable down and distance. All you're saying there is: he's not Mahomes. Well yeah, no shit. [Reply]

Just not. Tannehill can’t carry Mayfield’s jock. Tannehill is just a mid-tier QB, that can only play downhill. He can’t process at Baker’s level, is entirely reliant on Henry’s success in front of him, isn’t on the same planet in terms of accuracy as Baker, and has almost no ability to throw off-schedule.
Chubb doesn’t fumble deep in Browns territory, CLE probably wins yesterday. As it played out, the Browns held the lead for 54 minutes. They made two mistakes, which cost them to game. Baker wasn’t a part of either mistake. Wasn’t even on the field for them either. [Reply]

No, we are saying he's in the same league as a Ryan Tannehill not a franchise guy. No superbowl for them barring injuries affecting a bunch of teams [Reply]

If you watched the game yesterday, and think he's in the same class as Tannehill, I'm just going to put you on ignore because there's no point in talking football with you.
You have no idea what you're talking about. [Reply]

I don't think any of these people have any idea what the hell they're talking about. Tannehill? GTFO. It's like they've never actually watched football before Mahomes.
Mayfield is an entirely different animal than Tannehill. [Reply]
