Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.
Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?
Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware? [Reply]

OpticsPlanet has a deal on them now for $420, too.
thanks man. Ill check it out. I dont deal with optics often. Im more of an iron sights guy, but the AR pistol wont have irons, and i dont trust flip ups. [Reply]
Seems to be decent quality for cheap. Got a little receiver wobble (i dont care) and the takedown pins are tough(they will wear in) but for 5 bills its a steal. [Reply]

I have messed around with one a little bit. Do you guys think they are worth the 500+ pricetag.
I haven't had any problems with the three I personally own (two 512s and a 552), though I did have battery issues with my work-issued 511. The N battery just doesn't cut it compared to a AA.
Having said that, due to a massive lawsuit regarding EOTech's apparent issues holding zero in extreme temperature conditions, we switched ours out and went with a Sig Romeo.
Perhaps someone with more info can chime in, but apparently one could exchange their EOtechs for retail value because of the lawsuit.
Personally, I think they're fine, but if you'll be using it in extreme weather differences, there could be zeroing problems. [Reply]
Yeah, I have a 512 on my AR and it works fine. I understand that EoTech had a recall on a bunch of theirs, but the 512 on mine has worked flawlessly for a number of years - rain and shine.
Honestly, I don't know of anyone who has had a problem with theirs.
On My AR10, though I use a Trijicon ACOG and have never been happier. [Reply]

I believe the Eotech exchange is over. I put an Eotech on my Tavor but never used it. I didn’t like the bulkiness of it as the Tavor is already a bit on the heavy side. I’m throwing a suppressor on it eventually and wanted to keep the weight down as much as possible. I’ve been waiting 10 months for my suppressor. Pathetic.
I went with the Trijicon MRO and I love it. Big field of view, small, and the battery lasts forever. [Reply]
Tried to pick up an Eagle Arms AR from the OP gun show last night for $400. The guys card reader was broken so i walked out empty handed minus a few MREs.
My friend picked up a really nice Swiss K31 for $525. About in as good as condition as can be for a rifle made in 1946. [Reply]
