They seem so confident in Saquon (which, fair enough) and Hurts’ legs that their passing offense has felt like an afterthought to them other than the occasional “Hurts put up 300 last time and can do it again!” Hurts also tore apart the Commanders through the air, but I’m pretty sure Matt Cassel coulda dropped 40 on Washington’s D.
It also mitigates Spags's crazy blitzes and that's the one of the biggest if not THE biggest strength of our defense. [Reply]

This is a different team, as it is every year.
Yep, FPI and DVOA and those models must fucking hate the Chiefs using the regular season as a bunch of preseason games, and then being so damn good at it... if there's a luck factor, it has to be through the roof for them in order to close the gap between their less-than-amazing stats and their stellar results. Simms has picked against the Chiefs in every Superbowl (except maybe with the Bucs, I don't remember that one), he has a hard on for these big athletic rosters like Philly. [Reply]

He was a garbage QB, and his ego makes him want to believe that guys like Purdy, Jimmy G, Hurts, etc. can win it all. [Reply]

Kelce on Sunday.
But idk. If that’s the Eagles move that feels like putting a square peg in a round hole to me and runs the risk like when Raiders put Nmandi on Tony G only for Eddie Kennison to rip off a 100 yard game. [Reply]

He picked us last year because we proved him wrong both times against the Bills and Ravens. I think he picked San Fran and the Eagles previously but picked us against Tampa. This year he had Cinci, Ravens and Bills beating us in the AFC championship so he was never gonna pick us in the SB. [Reply]
I know some of you don’t do Reddit, so thought I’d share these few responses to the “Few Eagles players dealing with illness “ thread. I was cracking up reading it.
Anyway once again Devonta Smith was limited with his hamstring. Almost two weeks since he last played and he can't practice fully? We'll see how it looks tomorrow but clearly they don't trust it right now. And we know Spags and co are seeing this. It completely changes the passing game if he's not 100% right imo as he's been their best WR the last three games we've played them. [Reply]
