Assuming so we have a 2-3 year period where Rashee and Worthy are making nothing and Kelce’s exit also opens up money.
It would be nice to get a proven young weapon like Diontae for a 3rd to pair with Rashee and Worthy. Hell I’d bring Juju back too with Rice’s possible suspension and injury recovery insurance
Could Kelce not extend his career by being a tight end equivalent of a 3rd down back just coming into the offensive scheme on key downs and load managing more and more each season to preserve for the playoffs. [Reply]

Im just not sure how much of a field stretcher Cooper is anymore. Cooper and JJSS kinda do the same thing in this offense.
Other way around. I think Amari takes up a lot of space our other WRs don’t. Outside WR, man or zone beater, short and intermediate. If we can get mahomes to lock down more of those spaces it’s going to open up our ability to get the ball to worthy. It doesn’t hurt that he’s also plenty capable of going deep as needed [Reply]
In hindsight if we could do it all over again it feels like we overlapped rashee and juju too much. Would’ve been nice to have rashee take on more of the intermediate/downfield stuff with juju playing power slot. He was just so damn good at it but I think it led to mahomes tunneling in on rice. Adding cooper/johnson now that we see juju back in that role allows us to make that adaptation. [Reply]

The current season is all that matters. 2026 and 2027 are N/A. [Reply]
Not because it think he's a better player, but because i think it would allow Worthy to slide into the intermediate stuff that Hollywood was suppose to do, and Hyatt can take over the role of Go-Route-Boy. [Reply]

That is intriguing. I just don’t know how quickly Reid will allow a rookie to do that. I think we’ll need a veteran to take on some of those spaces [Reply]

Why would you be against Mike Williams?
Doesn't feel like the type of WR Reid usually goes for. A big guy who runs deep routes and catches jump balls. Reid wants guys who are versatile and are good route runners and get open in space. That's not even mentioning that he's extremely injury prone. [Reply]
Don't want anything to do with Mike Williams after watching him this season. He was already one of the more injury prone players in the sport before his ACL was torn and might be completely cooked now. [Reply]

The guy has been running the wrong routes all season (and per Rodgers, who admittedly has no issue throwing his teammates under the bus, was also running the wrong route on that play). [Reply]
