Nzoner's Game Room>50 Beers to Try Before You Die
NewChief 06:18 AM 04-24-2010
Thought the beer snobs here might like this article (and probably critique the hell out of it).

(CBS) You've heard of "100 Bottles of Beer on the Wall"?

How about 50 to try before you die?!
Spoiler!

The Chocolate and Espresso Yetis are delicious. Soooo good.

I'm excited to see if the BCS Cherry and BCS Coffee varieties turn up around here.

I got to have some Bell's Black Note Stout tonight at Martin City Brewing Company. Whoa, just delicious.

Also had a Meddler by Odell, very tasty sour.

You been in Waldo Pizza LS lately? They have a very tasty lineup now.

Waldo Pizza is very nice. Lots of choices out here with Next Door Pizza too. Can't complain about the beer selections out this way much.

No, we have it very good. It's even better when you're drinking on the house writing Chiefs songs.

I really miss Pliny the Elder since moving from Denver to Dallas.

In Brussels Belgium they brew lambic beer. Can only be found in Brussels from my knowledge. It's unbelievably good. That's a must have before you die, not some ale u can buy in 50 states.

You can buy most of those lambics here, but the best ones are very difficult to find. Got any Cantillon?

Cantillon is VERY tough to find in the states. Drie Fonteinen is another good lambic that can be found here if you look hard enough. Both are pretty pricey here compared to what they cost in Belgium/Europe.

You try any of the Jester King brews? You can probably find people willing to trade some Pliny the Elder in exchange for the Jester King stuff. While not in Pliny's class of beer, Southern Star's Pine Belt Pale Ale is a pretty good beer (comes in a 4pk of cans) that's brewed down in Conroe TX.
