On that front, I hope we don't really get into these cycles of desperately needing 1 and 2 year players to carry the scoring load for us.
I mean we're going to lose 40 PPG in Bates, Grill, Warrick and Perkins next season. It's just awfully hard to be trying to replace that seemingly every other year.
Just feels like we need more of these highly touted younger players to step up in their soph seasons (like we're seeing from Ant). A guy like Pierce becoming a 15+ PPG player next season is going to be pretty vital. But after him, Robinson and probably Mitchell returning, there's not much scoring punch left. I don't see Allen, Boateng or Barrett being big-time scorers for us next season. I don't even see Shaw being a tiger.
We're going to have to strike it big in the transfer portal again and when those miss, that's how the 23-24 season happens. [Reply]
Being ranked #22 with two top 10 wins, including one on the road, and only three losses, two of which were close to top 25 teams, and the other against the consensus #1 team, is horseshit of the highest order. [Reply]

We're going to get absolutely fucked when it comes to NCAA tourney seeding. [Reply]

The shooting was horrific but it was really an extension of the fact that NOTHING was working. It looked like they'd never played together before. [Reply]
