Last years teams keyed on the short stuff because our WR sucked this year they are started to do the same because they know we can’t block long enough to get open , so again every yard is a grind.

Ah yeah thank you.

Could go horribly wrong with Williams and Johnson on the outside, but I'd honestly like to see McDuffie play a lot more against McConkey in the slot. I don't think Connor or anyone else is faring well against him, and I'd be more comfortable daring Herbert to make Quentin Johnston or the others work.

Mahomes runs the show, and he has spoken.

Anyone know if Bosa will be starting? I know he's been pretty limited for most of the season with some kind of back/hip injury, and he's not listed as a starter on ESPN, so was wondering if he was trending towards healthy enough to start or not. Could be a big concern if he is.

Eh - I think Morris is more than happy to take a seat at this point as well.

His post-game comments just sound like someone who's completely defeated. Getting beat by the same move (just the most basic little swipe through that outside hand) has completely demoralized him.

I think he knows full well that he's a liability right now and needs to work on some things before he can go back out there.

The book is out on him and it got pretty obvious last week. He doesn't want to go out there and get strafed any more than Mahomes wants it to happen.

McConkey was injured in their game yesterday, may not play on Sunday.

If DJ is truly not ready to go by this game and needs 1 more week, then you start Thuney and Caliendo, run the ball, throw intermediate passes and put Firkser inline next to Thuney on the majority of the plays.

Entirely giving up on the quick intermediate passing game because Rice is out… when it can help with the Chiefs pass protection issues… is counterproductive.
I'd rather have Rice also, especially in YAC and vision after the catch. Our WRs lack that currently.

But Hopkins has better awareness and hands than any WR on the roster. If we could utilize him properly in the red zone, he catches so many contested throws.

Also an enormous surprise.

The biggest questions about him were related to his durability.

He got dinged in preseason and how 2/3 of the way through this season. Also had some injury problems at Georgia.

Who could have predicted pairing a thin, injury-prone player whose frame is unlikely to support more good weight with the Chargers franchise could have problems?

Our guys really need to show up locked in. Statement night.

You gotta lock the division up. If you lose, there is real legitimate hope for LA as we face a pretty grueling stretch those last four weeks. Remove all doubt.

I think the leadership on the team recognizes that they need to go ahead and flip that switch. This isn't like last year where you really didn't have anything to gain or lose in terms of seeding in that final month.

But we will see if it shows in their focus and therefore execution.

Chiefs favored by 3.5, I would be the house on KC to cover. Chargers are such a fake good team.
