It's a sanctioned bout, not an exhibition, from what I've heard and read.
So Mike won't be interested in carrying Jake. Or he shouldn't be. To have a reasonable chance of winning, Mike will need to come out pretty hot, imo. Maybe feel things out in the first but come out guns blazing in the 2nd. Put this poser on the deck as early as possible. [Reply]
I think we’d all like to see a flash of Mike Tyson circa 1986-88 against Paul. That’s not only improbable but illogical to expect. Yes, his 30 second training videos are impressive and he looks imposing regardless of age. But Father Time is undefeated, and JP only needs to drag him past the third round and this will likely devolve into what it really is; an old man nearly 30 years past his prime getting worn out by a mediocre amateur.
Hope I’m wrong, but I think we’re all in for a disappointment. [Reply]

If he's smart, he won't come out blazing. Paul is sure to know that he probably will and he'll clutch and run and allow Mike to wear himself out. That's gonna be Tyson's biggest hurdle, stamina.
If he comes out like classic Mike, he'll pick his shots cause he only needs to catch him once and it's lights out.
Nothing i want to see more in this world than Tyson catching him full on with an uppercut or hook and putting Paul right to sleep. [Reply]
